If you're looking to grow some healthy leafy greens right at home then this one is for you!
Native across south eastern Australia, as well as countries like Chile, Argentina and New Zealand, Warrigal Greens are a hardy spinach-like plant that are easy to care for, and are an excellent ground cover.
They produce bright, green leaves that can be harvested and blanched like spinach. Just Like spinach, Warrigal Greens contain oxalates meaning that it's important that they're blanched or cooked before eating as the heat removes the acid.
