Fruits? Edible flowers? There's nothing an Apple berry can't do!
A gorgeous plant that makes an excellent climber, or ground cover, this fantastic native produces delicious apple-textured berries with an interesting mixed flavour that's reminiscent of stewed apples and kiwifruit.
Come Springtime, clusters of beautiful bright bell-shaped pink flowers will bloom, offering nectar to bees and other important insects. When ripe (purple-yellow colour), they become edible and great as a snack, for jams, tarts, cakes, or preserving.
