Australian Finger Limes are a subtropical plant native to the Eastern Rainforests of New South Wales and Queensland. The fruit ranges in size from your pinky to your index finger - hence the name. Inside, the fruit has delicious 'caviar' pearls that burst with a sour, lemony, grapefruit, that's just great on oysters or in salads. This powder is zesty, and smells like sherbet!
Eaten historically by Aboriginal Australian mobs which lived in the region, the tree was nearly lost due to deforestation by early colonists.
