Native Oregano :/ Prostanthera rotundifolia Also known as round-leaf mint, this limited edition herb mixes well with roast dinners, sprinkled over lamb or beef, over roasted potatoes, or as the perfection addition to a mint sauce. It's also great in cous-cous, or other fresh dishes.
Native Oregano is a tough shrub found across south-eastern Australia. It is well known in horticulture for its beautiful pink flowers and great hedging properties. Highly aromatic, it was used traditionally to relieve cold and flu symptoms.
Having a powerful mint flavour, it is best used in meat dishes, or slow cooked meals. Other great options include in cocktails, or sprinkled in with cous cous or baked potatoes.
