Prickly on the outside, sweet on the inside….

A shrub native to south-eastern Australia, Prickly Currant Bush can be found in woodlands, Eucalyptus forests and cool-temperate rainforests.

Growing lovely green flowers through Spring and Summer, these develop into a delicious fruit in late Summer to early Autumn. With an orange, dark red colour, the fruit has a sweet and slightly astringent flavour that is best enjoyed with salads or even puddings!

Does not come with the pot in the photo :) It comes in a black tube pot.
