Lilly pilly berries are usually ready to harvest in late summer to early autumn, and can be harvested by gently plucking the fruit from the tree. Be careful not to damage the fruit or the tree when picking. Lilly pilly trees can produce a large amount of fruit, so it may be necessary to harvest in multiple sessions as the fruit ripens at different times. It's important to make sure the berries are fully ripe before harvesting, as unripe berries can be quite tart and unpleasant to eat.
