Rock Daisy Flower (140mm pot) FAQ's 🌱
Find your climate zone here.
Locate a blue quandong tree that is bearing fruit. The fruit grows in clusters on the branches and trunk of the tree. Check the fruit to see if it is ripe. Ripe fruit will be blue in color and will feel soft and slightly wrinkled to the touch. Gently twist each fruit from the branch or trunk of the tree. If the fruit does not come off easily, it is not yet ripe, and you should wait a few more days before trying again. Collect the harvested fruit in a container, such as a bucket or basket. Rinse the fruit under cool running water to remove any dirt or debris. Store the fruit in a cool, dry place until you are ready to use it. Note: Be sure to only harvest fruit from trees that you have positively identified as blue quandongs, and never eat fruit that is unripe or has a bitter taste, as it may be toxic.
